What it's called
A roller blind motor is called a tubular motor in the industry: a small-diameter motor installed inside the blind's roller tube that raises and lowers the fabric.
In German: Rollo, Rollomotor. In French: store enrouleur, moteur de store enrouleur.
Find the right size
Rule of thumb: required torque ≈ weight × 9.81 × tube radius × 2, and the motor body must be at least 5 mm smaller than the tube. Confirm with the manufacturer's sizing table.
