About OpenAxia

Search and compare blind, shutter, awning and door motors, their manufacturers, standards and certifications.

What we are

OpenAxia is an independent, source-linked catalog of blind, shutter, awning and door motors — tubular motors, curtain and venetian blind motors, door operators and their controls — built for the engineers, integrators and buyers who specify them.

Why we built it

Blind, shutter and awning motors are specified across brands, but the specifications live in one manufacturer catalog at a time, in different units and different words. There has been no independent place to put them side by side and check each value against its source.

OpenAxia collects published specifications from manufacturer documents and public registries, normalises units and names, and links every value to the document it came from.

How we make money

OpenAxia is free to use. In the future we will offer paid monitoring for teams and paid tools for manufacturers. We do not sell products, take commissions, or sell rankings.

Paying OpenAxia never changes our data, rankings or completeness scores.

Independence and conflicts of interest

OpenAxia has no ownership, agency or distribution relationship with any manufacturer it lists. If that ever changes, we will disclose each relationship on this page.

OpenAxia is independent and not affiliated with the brands listed. Brand names are used to identify products.

Manufacturers can claim their profile for free to correct and complete it; we review each claim and each correction by hand. See Methodology, Editorial policy and Corrections.
